Hello all, I just wanted to inform you that I am still alive, and that even though I'm not posting, I'm still checking my page. I got a couple of reasons as to why I haven't given new art - which I shall list off in a moment -, but before I do, I just want to let you all know that I am indeed still drawing; just not on my art tablet. I have been doing a lot of sketching and doodling, both on my own time and in art class, but since me and my family haven't figured out how to use our scanner, I haven't been able to color in or work on any of my really good pictures. But hopefully once everything settles down and we get the scanner working, I'll be posting a lot more. Heck, I might even do some streams on the weekend.
1. School; You all know how much of a pain in this &#@ school can be. Waking up early, lots of studying, lots of doing homework, trying to get sleep and trying to balance all things mentioned before while trying to have somewhat of a social life. Completely exhausting x_x
2. Papers; I wanna cry, papers are hard. I dunno if Mainland schools or any other school has this, but we have something called Knowledge Quest, which is different for different grades. But unlike past years where you write just one big paper at/near the end of the year, we have to write 7... SEVEN. PAPERS! All near the beginning of the year, and it makes my head hurt ;-;
Freshies/Sophomores: Write 3-5 page paper on a PERSON (has to be person), make a 1 minute monologue then dress up as person
Juniors: Write a 5-7 page paper on a topic or person, make a keynote, then present to people who visit after school
Seniors: Write a 7-10 page paper on a topic, make a keynote, then present to whole town
2. Sport; I do indeed participate on a sports team. I am a rower, and have been doing rowing 3 years in a row. But it starts from the very beginning of the school year, up until about mid-Novemberish. All my practices happen straight after school, and usually goes until about 4:30. So that takes a big chunk out of my after-school day. Along with that, we often have races every weekend, which sucks because often times we gotta go to the mainland, row most of the day, then either spend the night or hop on the last boat.
3. Clubs/Class Fundraising; Clubs are fun, but the fundraising for them and your class isn't as fun. I have to fundraise for the French Club for our summer trip to Paris, and we do a lot of fundraisers for it. I'm also on Prom Committee, and while there is no fundraising for that, it's a lot of work preparing for dances that not only the high school wants, but middle school as well. Then I also fundraise for our classes's senior trip. About once (maybe twice) a month, we do some sort of fundraiser. And since almost half my class is a bunch of lazy !@&!@#&!, I get stuck with a lot of the work.
4. Pets; I suppose this is my fault because we have quite a few, but because my younger sister for some reason -even though my sister claims they're HER pets- she gets off scot-free, and I take care of all the pets. Every night I have to go out to our other building, clean and feed our rabbits, then sit up there with them for a whole hour (any less and my dad cusses at me). Afterward, I have to feed the dog, and whenever the cat's bowl gets empty I refill that. And once my sister gets more fish, I'll have to feed them too, can't you tell I'm excited? \->-/
So plz dun kill meh for not doing work. I got a lot on my plate, but once I get rowing and most of the papers done, I'll have a lot more time to dedicate to you guys. I hope you understand, and please, don't be afraid to message or note me, I like hearing from you guys, whether comments on my art or just wanting to say hi. See ya round.

Well hello there my watchers!
It has been such a long time since I properly addressed you all!
Thought since it's been more than a year, you all deserve some sort of update.
First of all, I would like to address those who have been wondering if I have or am permanently disappearing from DA.
No, I am not leaving. To put it bluntly, I just don't have much time to really interact with my friends on here much. That isn't to say I am not interested in chatting, and I am certainly not ignoring people's art. In fact, every so often, I enjoy taking a glimpse at the content I have missed over the weeks or months I am not around. I'm sure some of y
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Hello everyone! It's time for another journal entry!
Thought I'd give you all an update on how the whole school thing went.
So if you may remember from my last post, I was freaking out about not being able to go to school. Turns out that wasn't an issue. We dropped the Discover loan and went straight through my school. Although we didn't really want to go with most of the federal loans, it's the last choice we had. I've been in school since late August to mid December and man, was it fun! Being a Game Art and Animation major has really helped me learn some new techniques to take my art to a new level, as you may have seen from some of my ar
Dreams Are Crumbling
I have some unfortunate news I felt like sharing with you all...
As you may or may not know, earlier in the year, I was accepted into Champlain College. You would not believe my overwhelming joy and disbelief when I found out I'd gotten into my top choice school. I did the usual high school senior thing. Worked on classes, applied for scholarships, etc etc. And of course over the summer I've been working. We got the bill, and me and my mom thought "No problem, it won't be that difficult getting a loan." But boy, were we wrong.
Now I bet for those of you who've either a) Been to college, b) Are currently in college, or c) Have friends or fam
